Solo Awards

Solo National Champions in each age category |

Solo National Champions - Winner gets
trophy/tiara/lapel pin/re-dance by
spotlight/National Champion Jacket/Senior Champion

trophies for each age category/division; more places
may be awarded dependent on total number of entries

Duet Awards

Duet National Champions in each age category |

Duet National Champions - BOTH dancers receive a

Officer Awards*

National Championship Officer “Best of the Best”
Award - Awarded to the top three Officer groups in
each age category and routine type with the highest
scores overall on their three highest scoring
routines brought to the competition. More places may
be awarded dependent on total number of entries
within each category. Winners will receive a trophy |

Outstanding Technique, Showmanship & Choreography
Awards – Awarded to the officers in each age
category earning the highest technique, showmanship
and choreography scores. Winners will receive a
trophy |
Team Awards*
 |
Team National Champions in each age category, team
type and team size (for public school teams) |

Team National Champions – Winning Director is
awarded a National Champion Jacket; winning Team
Members receive National Champion Jackets, trophy
and banner |

National Championship Team “Best of the Best” Award
- Awarded to the top three teams in each age
category and routine type with the highest scores
overall on their three highest scoring routines
brought to the competition. More places may be

Awards – Awarded to the teams in each age category
earning the highest technique, showmanship and

*Must enter a minimum of
3 routines in order to be eligible for National Champion
Jacket Awards. For officers and teams entering 4 or more
routines/categories, only the highest 3 scoring routines
will be used for National Championship score tallying
purposes.

Appeal Award - Indicated by the routine that generates
the greatest amount of positive crowd response

- Awarded to the team that exhibits excellence in the areas
of dance that are most important in the eyes of Mr. jon
Fisher -- Showmanship, Choreography and Precision -- score
sheets will determine winner.
Prestige Award -
Awarded to the team that takes the highest scores overall on
all routines brought to the competition for the day - The
highest award a team can win!
