July 11, 1984 in Tokyo, Japan. Also known as Hok or Hawk,
he was a
finalist on the third season of the American reality
television show So You Think You Can Dance.
Konishi is a breakdancer and has also appeared on the show
in seasons one and two. In season two,
Konishi nearly made it to the final twenty, but had only a
student visa and was unable to be
legally employed in the United States, which resulted in his
dismissal from the program.
Subsequently he obtained a work permit and became eligible
to participate in the competition in
Season Three. He was voted off the show by the judges on
July 19, 2007.
Born in Tokyo, Konishi is of Japanese descent, but grew up

a breaking crew called Quest, which

Konishi is also friends with So You Think
You Can Dance season one contestant Ryan Conferido; they are

Speaker

In researching what it is
that Directors, Parents and Dancers want out of their summer
camps, we learned that
Teambuilding and Leadership skills rank right up there
with technique and choreography. We listened; and boy, are
we delivering!
We are pleased to present, straight from New York, Ms. Ann
Fry, MSW, who will be customizing a Leadership Training
workshop specifically for the Prestige Destination DANCE!
Young Leaders Camp.
Ms. Fry works with Executives from Fortune 500 companies
across the nation helping them to develop world-class
organizations by fostering the team with insight, injecting
the workplace with fun and by using common sense approaches
to dealing with tough situations. She is the author of such
books as Laughing Matters and the author of seminars
entitled "Managing to Bring out the Best", "Lighten up: A
Playful Approach to Stress Management" and "Aw, What the
Heck....Do it Anyhow".
As the CEO and Dean of Fun at Humor U, she has enlightened
and entertained audiences of all ages nationwide with her
motivational and inspirational messages. Prestige couldn't
be more excited to have her join us in the Summer of 2008
for our camps!
Directors, we didn't forget about you in this process.... we
figured our Directors could similarly benefit from her
experience and expertise, so we have arranged for Ms. Fry to
also spend time with YOU in smaller breakout sessions during
the camp, in order to work on similar topics of interest.
More
Guest Speakers will be announced soon!
